Bayshore Boat Detailing is a Tampa Bay boat care crew run by two owners who spend their days on the water. One of us runs a shark fishing charter, so we know what salt, sun, fish blood and long days at the sandbar do to a boat.
Drop your boat at our shop or we'll come to your slip, lift, dock or dry stack anywhere from South Tampa to Clearwater. Every job gets marine-grade products and before-and-after photos.
Our mission: keep your boat looking like detail day, every time.

A standing wash keeps salt, bird mess and mildew from baking into your finish under the Florida sun.
We remove chalky, sun-faded oxidation with machine compounding and polishing, then seal the gelcoat so the shine lasts.
A hard, slick coating over corrected gelcoat that blocks UV and salt and lets the boat rinse clean between washes.
One-off jobs, add-ons, and programs for marinas, dealers and fleets.
A full deep wash that lifts stuck-on grime, treats mildew and cleans the vinyl. Good for a first visit or a boat that hasn't been cleaned in a while. Add a protective sealant coat if you want it to last.
Vinyl, hatches, storage, cushions and head, finished with UV protectant. Book it alone or add it to any wash or detail.
Stainless and chrome polished by machine or hand, then sealed. Add it to any wash plan or detail package.
For badly faded or chalky gelcoat that polishing alone won't fix. We wet-sand, compound and polish, and price it after we see the boat.
Eight or more boats at one marina? We set up a biweekly or monthly wash route on a 12-month term at a route rate below our regular wash price.
Four or more boats a month, turned in 48 hours: sale-ready deep washes and full details at a dealer rate. House accounts with one monthly invoice are available.
Marine-only products, a set process, and owners who are on the water every day.
Marine-safe soaps, compounds and coatings. No bleach or household cleaners on your gelcoat or vinyl.
We test a section, take the oxidation off, then seal or coat. Waxing a dull boat only locks the dullness in.
Before and after photos of your boat after every visit, so you see exactly what was done.

Oxidation, chalky gelcoat and water spots are part of boating in Tampa Bay. Our detail packages bring back your boat's color and gloss, then protect it.
Machine compounding and polishing cut away the dead, chalky layer and bring back deep color and a high-gloss shine.
We take out the fading, staining and salt buildup that Florida sun and saltwater leave on every boat.
After correction we seal the gelcoat with a marine sealant, wax or ceramic so the shine holds up on the water.
Heavy oxidation gets more than one pass: heavy-cut compound, then a finishing polish, and wet-sanding when it's severe.
Not sure which one your boat needs? Call us, describe the finish, and we'll tell you on the call.
UV light and saltwater break down the top layer of gelcoat, leaving a chalky, faded surface. In Tampa Bay sun it happens fast.
Most heavy oxidation comes out with multi-step compounding, and severe cases with wet-sanding. If the gelcoat is worn through, we'll tell you before we start.
Wax holds a few months in Florida, a polymer sealant about 4–6 months, and a ceramic coating 1–2 years with regular washes.
Either. Drop it at our shop, or we come to your slip, lift, dock, dry stack or driveway.
Wipe the hull with your hand. No residue usually means Wax & Wash, light chalk means the Stainless-Buff Package, and heavy chalk or faded color means Full Restoration. Call us and we'll confirm.

A ceramic coating bonds to your gelcoat and forms a hard, slick layer that blocks UV and salt, so your boat stays glossy and rinses clean between washes.
Ceramic bonds to gelcoat and paint and forms a hard shield that lasts 1–2 years with regular washes, far longer than wax.
Blocks the sun damage that turns gelcoat chalky and faded, on the hull and every coated surface.
Water, salt and grime bead up and roll off, so cleanup after a day out takes minutes.
Brings out a wet, mirror-like shine and deepens the color of dark hulls.
Less scrubbing and fewer harsh chemicals every time the boat gets washed.
Any ceramic package can be added to any of our detail packages as an upgrade.
Every ceramic package can be added to any of our detail packages.
Marine ceramic typically lasts 1–2 years, depending on how the boat is used, where it's stored and how often it's washed.
For protection, yes. Ceramic resists UV and salt far longer and makes washing easier. Wax in Florida usually breaks down within a few months.
Usually. Ceramic locks in the surface as it is, so oxidation, water spots and swirls get corrected first. We check the gelcoat before we quote.
Yes. We coat non-skid, glass, metal and vinyl in the Correct & Coat and Double Coat packages, or one surface at a time with À La Carte.
Rinse after every trip and use a pH-neutral marine soap. A biweekly or monthly wash plan keeps the coating performing for its full life.

Drop it at our shop in Tampa, or we come to marinas, private docks, lifts, dry stacks and driveways across Tampa Bay.
Your boat's make, model and length, where it's kept, and what it needs: a wash, oxidation removal, ceramic, or not sure yet.
It depends on the boat: length, type, condition and what it needs all change the price. Call us, tell us about your boat, and we'll give you a free quote on the call. Boats over 40 ft get a free walkthrough quote.
Both. You can drop your boat at our shop, or we come to in-water slips, lifts, private docks, dry stacks and trailers at home. If your marina needs contractor approval or insurance on file, tell us which marina and we'll handle it before the visit.
No. Most owners aren't. Tell us where the boat is and how to get to it, and we'll send photos when we finish.
A maintenance wash on a 20–30 ft boat usually takes a couple of hours. A full correction can take a day or two for a crew of two, depending on size and condition.
We use marine-specific products only, never bleach, ammonia or household cleaners. We don't pressure-wash over the water and we keep wash water and compound dust contained, following Florida Clean Marina practices.
Yes. Captains and yacht managers get one point of contact, a set crew, visits scheduled around the boat's calendar, and a photo report after every visit.
We watch the radar and call you to reschedule if a storm will hit mid-job. Rain after a wash doesn't hurt sealed gelcoat.
